2:30 PM – 3:30 PM: Hotel pickup by 4x4 vehicle and drive to the Lahbab or Al Awir desert (about 45 minutes from the city).
4:30 PM: Start with an exciting session of dune bashing. Your driver takes you over the rolling sand dunes, giving you a thrill ride with plenty of photo ops.
5:00 PM: Camel rides and sandboarding near the camp. You’ll get a chance to ride camels and try out sandboarding on small dunes.
5:30 PM: Stop at a scenic spot to catch the desert sunset. This is one of the most photographed moments of the trip.
6:00 PM: Arrive at the desert camp. You’ll be welcomed with Arabic coffee and dates. Relax in traditional seating, enjoy henna painting, try a shisha, and take photos in local attire.
